Guidelines

Borrowing Period:   Three weeks
Renewing
Books:
  Over three weeks-please make arrangements to renew books to avoid incurring fines.
Reserving
Books:
  If the book(s) you want are out, you may reserve them
Interloans:   If we do not hold the book you want, we may be able to borrow from another library. All non-urgent requests from the National Library of NZ, and The Alexander Turnbull Library will be a free service. Requests to all other libraries will incur charges.
Fines:   Please return books by the due date, failure to do so will result in fines being charged at a rate of ten cents per day per item.
Lost Books:   Please notify the librarians if a book is lost. Unfortunately there will be a cost of replacement plus administration fee.
Closed
Reserve:
  From time to time and at the request of Kaihautū, some material will be placed in closed reserve. These books may be used for a short time in the Library and must not be removed.
Reference
Books:
  Please do not remove reference material from the Library.
Photocopying:   A photocopier is available inside the Library for student use, at a rate of ten cents per copy. Change may be obtained from the library staff.
Returning
Books:
  Please place in Returns Box. PLEASE DO NOT RETURN TO THE SHELVES.
Re-Shelving
Books:
  Please leave this for the library staff.
Food and
Drinks:
  Absolutely not permitted in the library.

 

The Librarian may recall any item that is on loan. These items must be returned within three days of the request or a fine of $5.00 per day per item will be charged.

Students with overdue books or outstanding fines will not be able to borrow books from the Library and may not be eligible to graduate or re-enrol at Te Wānanga-o-Raukawa.
