Ngā Akoranga - Year Two
The revival and maintenance of te reo and tikanga Māori for the survival of Māori is a key pursuit for Te Wānanga o Raukawa and is the focus of this programme in particular.
This three year degree aims to produce graduates who have a high proficiency in te reo and tikanga. The programme teaches situational language with a diffferent focus each term. Kaupapa covered include language of the home, marae, media and paepae. Iwi and Hapū studies feature strongly. Students will need to be available to attend classes full-time 9am - 3pm Monday - Thursday.

This one year Heke (Diploma) is NZQA approved at level 5. The three year Poutuarongo (Degree) is NZQA approved at level 7.
