Te Tomonga and Ratonga Ākonga

Te Tomonga is the doorway to studies at Te Wānanga o Raukawa.  Our focus is to provide information about our study programmes and to assist students through the enrolment process.

Student Loan

All Te Wānanga o Raukawa programmes are approved by NZQA and qualify for access to student loans.  The student loan can help finance your studies. Loans help with your fees, course-related costs and living costs. StudyLink can tell you about the Student Loan and organise your application and loan each year.

Student Allowance

All of our full year full-time programmes are approved for students to be able to apply for access to the student allowance.  The Student Allowance is a weekly payment to help with your living costs while you study full-time. StudyLink can assess your eligibility for student allowance.

Ratongo Ākongo

This area processes enrolments, holds academic records and provides assistance to students.  We are able to:

• assist you with your appplication for Student Loans and Allowances
• advocate on your behalf when dealing with StudyLink
• complete the required information for your Training Incentive Allowance and Child Care subsidy forms for WINZ
• provide copies of your academic records.
