Te Rōpū Whāiti o Ngā Tauira - Student Association

Te Rōpū Whāiti o Ngā Tauira is the Student Association of Te Wānanga o Raukawa. The group is run by ākonga for ākonga. Being involved with Te Rōpū Whāiti o Ngā Tauira is a great opportunity to make sure ākonga voices and opinions are heard, to make new friends and get involved with the teaching and learning community.
The group aims to provide:
- Advocacy and support for ākonga in their study journey
- Pastoral support
- Social networking
- Ākonga representation on the Academic Board
- A presence at each noho on campus
An understanding of te reo Māori and the guiding kaupapa of Te Wānanga o Raukawa would be useful in the role.
There are currently positions open for one representative per academic whare, per campus (Ōtaki, Manukau and Gisborne ). All full-time students may apply.
