E whakahaerengia ana e Te Wānanga o Raukawa tēnei tohu mātauranga hei taumata whai i te mātauranga, otirā, kia taea e ngā tauira te āta rangahau i ngā āhuatanga o tēnei taonga.

Nō reira, ko te whāinga nui o tēnei tohu, kia tupu, kia rangatira tā tātou wānanga, tā tātou kawe i te mātauranga. Hua atu, kia rangatira hoki tā tātou whakaahua i te wānanga nei ki te reo Māori.

He nui tonu ngā whāinga o te tohu nei, arā, ngā taumata kia ekengia e ngā tauira. Ko te whakaaro, mā te eke i ēnei taumata ka tupu te tohungatanga o te tangata. Heoi anō rā, e pēnei ana ngā whāinga o tēnei tohu mātauranga:

  1. He āwhina i ngā tauira i tā rātou wānanga i te mātauranga Māori
  2. He āwhina, he whakanui i te wānanga a ngā tohunga, a ngā kaiwhakaako, a ngā pātaka Iringa kōrero katoa mō te mātauranga Māori
  3. He āwhina i te rangahau me te tuhituhi i ngā kōrero mō te mātauranga Māori, arā, ngā whakaaro e tuhia ana ki te reo Māori

Entry Requirements: For applicants 20 years and over. An undergraduate teaching degree or diploma; five or more years classroom teaching experience; a high level of fluency in te reo Māori, both oral and written, as the course is total immersion and evidence of support from a hapū and iwi to be provided. Regular internet access, email address and computer, laptop, tablet or other suitable mobile device is required.
