Heke Rongoā

Diploma in Māori Holistic Wellbeing

Learn the values, principles and practices of Māori healing, known as rongoā and develop a holistic approach to the promotion of wellbeing.

Heke Rongoā provides a solid foundation in mātauranga Māori, te reo Māori and the identification of indigenous plants and their traditional uses for healing. You will participate in the harvesting, preparation and application of rongoā.

The Heke Rongoā programme aims to contribute to the growing resource of bilingual and bicultural practitioners in traditional and contemporary Māori healing for whānau, hapū and iwi, Māori and non-Māori organisations.
