  • Te Tomonga - Office of Enrolments

    Te Tomonga is the doorway to Te Wānanga o Raukawa. The team provides information and advice on courses, enrolling and what it is like to study at Te Wānanga o Raukawa. They provide course information and can support you to enrol. Visit the Te Tomonga team in Te Ara a Tāwhaki at the Ōtaki campus.

  • Ratonga Ākonga - Student Services

    Ratonga Ākonga processes enrolments, hold academic records and assist students by:

    • providing information for your application for a student loan, student allowance or scholarship
    • advocating on your behalf when dealing with StudyLink
    • completing the required information for your childcare subsidy forms for Work and Income
    • providing copies of your academic record to you.

  • Utunga Ākonga - Student Fees

    Student fees are a one-stop shop for all finance information relating to your study.  Talk to our staff about course costs, fee schedules or to check on your account. Email studentfees@twor-otaki.ac.nz with queries and information about students fees.

  • StudyLink Loans & Allowances

    All Te Wānanga o Raukawa programmes are approved by NZQA and qualify for access to student loans (with the exception of fee free courses). The student loan can help finance your tuition fees, course-related costs and living costs. Student allowance and accommodation subsidy provide a living cost contribution to students who qualify.


    Apply for a student loan or allowance as early as possible to avoid delays in processing your application and enrolment. Go online to the StudyLink website for information on how to apply for the student loan and student allowance. Sorted.org.nz also has useful information about applying for and paying back a student loan. If you need help from us email: ratonga.akonga@twor-otaki.ac.nz

  • Course Support

    Each course has arrangements in place to support you in your studies, from time management and assignment writing to preparation for assessments and presentations. Kura Tautoko is available after each semester as an opportunity for you to take time out and come in and spend time with your tutor.  Accommodation and kai is included.  Contact your pūkenga/tutor if you require extra assistance with your studies. 

  • Fees Free

    The governments FEES FREE study scheme means that anyone new to tertiary education, no matter what age now has access to study the first year on any fee paying programme, for free.

  • Learner Support

    Kura Tautoko


    Kura Tautoko is not compulsory but is an opportunity for you to take some time away from whānau and work commitments in order to complete your studies.  During this time our campus and sites are open with academic staff and services available to support you in your journey.


    Your academic area will be in touch with you around Kura Tautoko as you will be required to book in, in advance for accommodation and kai.

  • IT Support

    For help with your Office 365 username and password, email and general IT enquiries for students email tautoko@twor-otaki.ac.nz.


    Note that Te Wānanga o Raukawa IT teams do not service student equipment. They can offer advice if you are having issues with your personal computer or device. Please be aware that assistance is provided at your own risk. 

  • Mūrau Support

    The Mūrau Support Team is available to help with technical issues with Mūrau courses or the Mūrau site. Email murausupport@twor-otaki.ac.nz with your queries. If you need help with your Mūrau course lessons, readings or tasks, please contact the pūkenga/tutor of your course.

  • Te Whāiti o Ngā Tauira o Te Wānanga o Raukawa - Student Association

    Te Rōpū Whāiti o Ngā Tauira is the Student Association of Te Wānanga o Raukawa.  The group is run by ākonga for ākonga.  


    The group aims to provide:


    • Advocacy and support for ākonga in their study journey
    • Pastoral support
    • Social networking
    • Ākonga representation on the Academic Board of Te Wānanga o Raukawa
    • A presence at each noho on campus
