New Applicants

  1. Read the  Enrolment Information pdf (0.19MB).
  2. Supply verified ID of the name you are enrolling under. Scan or take a photo of your verified ID and save to your computer or device.
  3. Complete the New Student Online Enrolment form and upload your ID.
  4. Submit your application.


Returning Students

  1. Read the  Enrolment Information pdf (0.19MB).
  2. Complete the Returning Student Online Enrolment form.
  3. Submit your application.  



Help to Enrol Online

  1. To enrol online you will need an email address, information about your education history and know what course you want to study
  2. If you need an email address you can sign-up for free with Gmail or
  3. Before you start your online application, read the enrolment information.
  4. Applicants 17 years and under will require a parent or guardian signature on the student declaration.
  5. If this is your first time studying with Te Wānanga o Raukawa you will need to send verified identification.  Verified identification is:
    1. A copy of your full birth certificate or passport that has been verified by a Justice of the Peace, school principal or any government department.
    2. If your name has changed from what it is on your birth certificate or passport you will need to provide verified evidence of this, such as a marriage certificate.
    3. If not New Zealand born you will need to provide evidence of New Zealand residency or citizenship.
    4. If you entered a National Student Index number on your application you can send a verified copy of your drivers licence as ID.

  6. Scan or take a photo of your verified identification and save to your computer or device.
  7. Complete the online enrolment form for New Applicants or Returning Students. At the last page of the form upload your ID (if applicable). Submit your application.
  8. If you are unable to upload your ID when you apply online, email your ID to as soon as possible. Please name and date your documents, and ensure attachments can be read clearly. 
  9. We will be in contact with you to formalise your application details and academic programme.

  11. If you have technical trouble with the online form, check your adobe flash player and browser are up to date. Trying a different browser can also help sometimes with online issues.  Or get in contact with us and we will send you out a form 0800 WANANGA or
