Poupou Huia Te Reo Te Hōkairangi

July 28, 2017

You asked for it, and we’ve done it. The next level Poupou Huia Te Reo course is ready for take-off! Our second online te reo course starts Monday 7 August 2017.

If you are a graduate of the first Poupou Huia Te Reo course (level 4), we invite you to enrol in our follow up course, Poupou Huia Te Reo Te Hōkairangi (level 5) and continue your reo journey with us.

Poupou Huia Te Reo Te Hōkairangi extends on language patterns from the first course with comprehensive explanations of sentence structures and grammar. Meet a new whānau and join them as they venture to more places in the community and the environment. Enjoy a set of pūrākau Māori, such as the adventures of Māui and the creation story, and gain a deeper understanding of the foundations of Māori knowledge and the Māori world view.

If you want to build your language skills or take your reo to the next level past the beginner stage, this course is for you. If you are a parent who wants to engage more with your tamariki and whānau while out and about, or a kaiako in Kōhanga Reo or Kura Kaupapa looking to refine your sentence structures, you will truly appreciate this course.

Poupou Huia Te Reo Te Hōkairangi is free to citizens of Aotearoa, domestic students and permanent residents.

Kāore i tua atu i a koe mō te ako i te reo rangatira!
