Ōtaki Campus

Te Wānanga o Raukawa campus in Ōtaki has a range of facilities and support available to you when you are attending residential seminars or noho. You are welcome to call in anytime for a look around. We look forward to seeing you here.

  • Meals and Accommodation

    You are provided with all meals while on noho at Te Wānanga o Raukawa.  Accommodation is in a marae setting or open sleeping area.  Bring blankets or a sleeping bag and towels as well as any personal and medical care items.

  • Laundry Facilities

    $2 coin operated washing machines and clothes dryers are available for students.

  • Campus Shop

    Purchase Te Wānanga o Raukawa branded clothing and other merchandise from our Campus shop. Shop hours are 1.00pm to 2.00pm  on selected days when students are on campus.

  • Student IT Support

    Email tautoko@twor-otaki.ac.nz for assistance with your Office 365 account and general IT enquiries.

  • Mūrau Support Team

    The Mūrau Support Team is located in the Te Moana o Raukawa building at the Ōtaki campus. They can help with technical issues with your courses in Mūrau or the Mūrau site. Email the team murausupport@twor-otaki.ac.nz

  • Medical Care while on Noho

    If you become unwell while on noho in Ōtaki, the programme administrator, on approval from the Kaihautū, can arrange for you to be seen at the Ōtaki Medical Centre. For other locations, please speak to the tutor who will discuss with you and the site manager the best approach.

  • Ngā Purapura | Gym and Sports Facilities

    Ngā Purapura is a world-class training facility located at our Ōtaki campus. With a fully equipped gym, court facilities, meeting rooms, classrooms, cafe and more. Ngā Purapura is home to qualifications offered under Te Whare Oranga and is available for students to enjoy at a subsidised cost while on campus. Kura Tiaki, afterschool and holiday childcare programmes are run from this venue. Check out our Ngā Purapura page for more details.

  • Whare Pukapuka | Library

    Housed within the Te Ara a Tāwhaki building at the Ōtaki campus, Te Whare Pukapuka offers a warm and welcoming space for students with spacious study areas, access to desktop computers, wifi along with printing, photocopying and scanning services. Our trained librarians can help with research enquiries and provide support for accessing information. Please check out our page here for more details.

  • He Iti Nā Mōtai | Early Childhood Care and Education

    He Iti Nā Mōtai is a reo rumaki whare kōhungahunga (early childhood) and education centre at the Ōtaki campus. It provides a stimulating kaupapa Māori learning environment for the tamariki of students while you are on noho. We encourage you to make use of this facility. If you are seeking childcare while on noho in Ōtaki please contact them at least seven days prior to your arrival to ensure a place is available and your child can be accommodated. Manukau site

Te Wānanga o Raukawa ki Manukau is located on Level 4, 20 Amersham Way, Manukau in the heart of central Manukau, Auckland. Within walking distance to the train station, bus stops, mall and shopping centre, the site offers a modest range of facilities while you are studying there. You are welcome to call in anytime for a look around. We look forward to seeing you here.

    Get connected to campus wif-fi, download Office 365 for students or get advice on activating macrons on your device from the IT support team on tautoko@twor-otaki.ac.nz.

  • Mūrau Support Team

    The Mūrau Support Team is located in the Rangataua building in the Ōtaki campus. They can help you with technical issues with your Mūrau courses or the Mūrau site. Email the team at murausupport@twor-otaki.ac.nz

  • Whare Pukapuka | Library

    There are a small number of books available at the Manukau campus.  The main whare pukapuka is located in Ōtaki, you can access the range of resources from here.  The library aims to support your studies and research, staff are available by phone or email, for information on lending guidelines please contact the wharepukapuka on 0800 WANANGA or by email.

  • Parking

    Our Manukau site is in a city setting and carparks are limited. Further information will be provided by our kaimahi during your residential seminar.
