Everything you need to support your learning journey at Te Wānanga o Raukawa, in one place. Find guidance on our tools and resources below.

Noho (face to face)

What does noho mean to you?

Watch the video below where Kaihautū, Rangi Te Whiu Jury will help you prepare for face to face noho and discuss the meaning of 'Pre-noho' and 'Post-noho'.

Mūrau | Moodle

Mūrau (moodle) is where you go to access your online courses. It is the learning management system where online courses occur. All undergraduate Iwi and Hapū Studies and Te Reo programmes are delivered online, and all specialisation courses have online content. This is the place you upload your assignments, participate in forum discussion and access results and feedback. This is another place where you will receive important information about your programme and Te Wānanga o Raukawa.

 

Use your TWoR student email address and password to log into your Office 365 account and this will automatically log you into Mūrau. Bookmark the Mūrau site in your browser to return anytime, or go to the main TWoR website www.wananga.com and select the Mūrau button up the top or go to https://murau.wananga.com/login/index.php.

If you can't see a course you are enrolled in on Mūrau, it could mean the course is not yet available to students. If in doubt, check with your pūkenga. The Mūrau Support Team is located in the Te Moana o Raukawa building at the Ōtaki campus. They can help with technical issues with your courses in Mūrau or the Mūrau site alternatively contact murausupport@twor-otaki.ac.nz. For assistance logging in or password resets please email tautoko@twor-otaki.ac.nz.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams enables Pūkenga to continue, to promote learning in a virtual classroom with ākonga. Pūkenga and ākonga can easily communicate, share notes, have one on one chats and group meetings using a single collaborative environment. 

 

Download the Microsoft Teams app to your computer or device by following this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-nz/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app. 

 

For your phone or tablet, download the Office 365 and Teams apps from your device App store, install and log in using your Student Office 365 account details. These tools are essential for the duration of your time studying with us.

Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft 365 -  is a suite of apps that help you stay connected and get things done. For the duration of your study you will have free access to the online version of Microsoft Office, including online storage (Onedrive).  Once your enrolment is accepted you will receive details about accessing the tools in Office 365, you will need to log in to the Te Ara Portal to obtain your credentials and activate your student account.

Office applications available to you

Students who have work accounts will need to open a private browser (web page) on your laptop or computer to avoid clashes with your Te Wānanga o Raukawa Microsoft student office account.

To access Office 365 online, go to https://www.office.com and sign in with your Te Wānanga o Raukawa student details. To reset your password or your Microsoft Office 365 account contact tautoko@twor-otaki.ac.nz.

te ARA | ENROLMENT PORTAL

Te Ara is the student enrolment portal. You will be able to enrol online when and where you want using nearly any device, save as you go and complete your application at a pace that suits. It also lets you view the status and progress of your enrolment application online at anytime.

 

Make sure you remember your Te Ara Portal login details as you will need to return here to obtain your student details e.g temporary password and activate your Office 365 applications. Through Te Ara you will also be able to update your contact details and re-enrol. Once you are fully enrolled you will be able to use your student Office 365 credentials to log in to Te Ara, access your classroom in Microsoft Teams and Mūrau (your online learning platform).

 

Ākonga with work Office 365 accounts are advised to use the 'Incognito' feature in your browser to avoid log in issues. You can also use a keyboard shortcut to open an Incognito window: Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS: Press Ctrl + Shift + n. Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + n.
