How does it work?
Before you take the next step, let us explain how it all works and what you need to do in order for you to develop your reo and complete this course.

You will need access to the internet because everything is delivered online. We recommend that you spend a minimum of 12 hours a week on the listening activities, exercises and interaction with others in the course. You do not have to sit at the computer to do this; you can listen to the audio while commuting to work, spend your lunch break doing activities, or follow the programme when the tamariki have gone to bed. The best thing about this course is that you can learn in your own time, at your own pace and with others.

How long is the course?
Poupou Huia Te Reo - Te Hōkairangi is 20 weeks long and is suited for advanced beginners to intermediate learners, so there is something in it for everyone.

What assessments are there?
There are three formal assessments to complete to achieve this certificate. The assessments will test your audial, oral and written skills. There are also online activities attached to each week to help reinforce what you have learnt and help you to achieve the outcomes of this course.

Can I commit to finishing the course?
Before you complete your enrolment, please carefully consider all your commitments and capacity to engage in the course (time, device and internet access). If you are still confident and committed to this reo journey, we look forward to receiving your enrolment.

How much does it cost?
If you are a New Zealand citizen the course is free. Non-New Zealand residents please call or e-mail us for all fee information.
