Te Tomonga is the doorway to Te Wānanga o Raukawa. The Te Tomonga team provides you with the information needed to make an informed decision on your study options. Ratonga Ākonga processes enrolments, holds academic records and provides assistance to students by:
- providing information for your application for Student Loan and Student Allowance
- advocating on your behalf when dealing with StudyLink
- completing the required information for your Training Incentive Allowance and Childcare Subsidy forms for Work and Income
- providing copies of your academic record to you.

Student fees are a one-stop shop for all finance information relating to your study. Talk to our staff about course costs, fee schedules or to check on your account. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with queries and information about students fees.
StudyLink Loans & Allowances
All Te Wānanga o Raukawa programmes are approved by NZQA and qualify for access to student loans (with the exception of fee free courses). The student loan can help finance your tuition fees, course-related costs and living costs. Student allowance and accommodation subsidy provide a living cost contribution to students who qualify.
Apply for a student loan or allowance as early as possible to avoid delays in processing your application and enrolment. Go online to the StudyLink website for information on how to apply for the student loan and student allowance. If you need help from us email Te Tomonga email@example.com.
Each course has arrangements in place to support you in your studies, from time management and assignment writing to preparation for assessments and presentations. Contact your tutor if you require extra assistance with your studies.
Te Hiringa is the student academic success centre at Te Wānanga o Raukawa. Te Hiringa staff can help students with:
- Writing assistance including formatting and referencing
- Assignment information gathering
- Describing and analysing topics
- Extra tutorials
- Academic coaching
- Developing skills necessary to achieve academic success

Te Rōpū Whāiti o Ngā Tauira
Te Rōpū Whāiti o Ngā Tauira are tauira kaiāwhina and tauira kaitiaki offering advocacy and guidance to assist students with information, awareness and linkage to other student support services. The rōpū aims to have tauira representatives from each academic Whare and Marae Based Studies (MBS). New representatives are welcome. The IT Support Team can advise on connecting to campus WiFi, downloading Office 365 for students, using macrons and other general IT issues. Email the team firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Mūrau Support Team is available to help with log ons and technical issues with Mūrau courses or the Mūrau site. Email email@example.com with your queries. If you need help with your Mūrau course lessons, readings or tasks, please contact the pūkenga/tutor of your course.
