Poupou Huia Te Reo

June 17, 2017

Poupou Huia Te Reo is an online Māori language course where you follow the daily activities of a real whānau through a series of audio lessons and online activities. Learn language to use in the home, at work and in everyday situations.

Poupou Huia Te Reo is 20 weeks long, suited to all language levels, so there is something in it for everyone. We recommend you spend around 12 hours a week on the listening activities, exercises and interaction with others in the course. You don’t have to sit at the computer to do this; listen to the audio while commuting to work, spend your lunch break doing activities, or follow the programme when the tamariki have gone to bed. The best thing about this course is that you can learn in your own time, at your own pace and with others.

You will need access to the internet because everything is delivered online. Are you new to the language? Do not be concerned; the more you put into the course the more you will get out of it, and you will have tutor support for the duration of your study with us here at Te Wānanga o Raukawa.

If you are a New Zealand citizen the course is free. Non-New Zealand residents please call 0800 WANANGA (0800 926 2642) or email us for fee information tetomonga@twor-otaki.ac.nz.
